The people behind the world
Worlds with roots.
Stories still unwritten.
Longhall Studios is building Eldmark: a fantasy world of survival, culture, belief and the unknown.
Our first landfall
A strange world.
A life of your own.
The sea brings you to an unfamiliar place. Surviving it is the beginning. Finding a place among its peoples, learning its stories and building something worth protecting gives the journey its depth.
Eldmark draws on northern European history around 900–1200 AD for its cultural and visual language. Its world is fictional: a place for folklore, myth and mysticism, alongside the practical demands of food, shelter and community.
The current focus is Eldmark: Landfall, a survival and settlement game designed for multiplayer. Eldmark: Unsworn is the future MMO vision. Lessons from the first game will help inform that larger ambition.

Our approach
Creative direction.
Honest development.
AI-assisted production
The project uses AI-assisted tools and assets under the creative director’s direction and review. This is part of how the game is being developed, and we intend to describe it accurately.
Generated work still needs judgement: evaluating results, fixing problems, testing how assets fit together and reviewing them in the game. Assets can be improved or replaced as development and funding allow.
Show what exists
Concept illustrations explore mood and artistic intent. Prototype captures show the unfinished local build. They are labelled separately on this website.
A confirmed design is not automatically a finished feature. We distinguish between the prototype, work in progress and longer-term plans, including multiplayer and the future MMO.
Room to improve
Landfall is still being shaped. Performance, presentation, playtesting and the interactions between systems all need work. We will share meaningful progress as it becomes ready to show.
